• Responsibilities included but not limited to: conceptualizing, designing, planning, organizing and coordinating; budget management, supervising production and installation of fine art exhibitions, trade fairs, fashion show production, thematic window displays, in-store merchandise presentation; office management, media publicity/PR, and opening receptions.
• Supported the sale of merchandise through creative presentations, seasonal fashion trend statements, three-dimensional visual merchandising displays, promotional events, and divisional prototypes.
• Communicated all divisional merchandising directives to stores. Participated in divisional and regional prototypes and renovations. Worked with all levels of store to direct merchandise execution. Partnered with the Merchandise Team Manager in organizing, executing and selling floor fixture/merchandise moves.

Area of responsibilities included but not limited to coordinating, planning, supervising, production, installing & designing window displays, in-store merchandise presentation & administrative tasks.* Major achievement was the planning and coordination of the 1997 Holiday Windows: Twelve Days of Christmas. Designed the Spring 1998 windows.

Earthworks, Inc., Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Founded and operated Earthworks Inc., a design consulting firm. Worked in collaboration with the Malaysian National Art Gallery, local art colleges, shopping malls, hotels, galleries, and alternative art spaces to promote art & culture. Project work included: proposal writing, negotiating, designed large-scale exhibitions and trade fairs, visual presentations, budget planning, supervision of installation, public affairs/PR, and hosting opening receptions.
1990 - 1992
Visual Merchandising Creative Director.
Isetan of Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Established this start-up Visual Merchadising department for Isetan of Japan. Directed a 10-person Visual Merchandising, Production Studio, and Graphic Design Department. Worked in collaboration with Apparel Design, Merchandising, Advertising and Promotion Departments to develop store image, design window displays, coordinate promotions and special events, facilitate merchandise consignment and purchasing.
Curated, designed and installed fine art exhibitions, fashion shows, performances, and other consignment events at Isetan Art Gallery.
Designed a pilot Visual Presentation program curriculum and conducted a training program to staff members of the Visual Presentation department and sales associates. Trained support teams on merchandising standards, proper fixture utilization and techniques to improve store presentation. Recruited, selected, and trained visual staff. Communicated company and departmental objectives to staff and visual presentation trainees
Major achievement was designed and implemented the 1991 Christmas Holidays Windows; It's A Wonderful Christmas. It was recognized as one of the best Christmas decoration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Projects had been reviewed in major newspapers in Malaysia.

Worked for departmental stores and hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These stores included: Metro Jaya, Emporium Holdings, BatuRoad Store, Lian Fatt, The Prince Hotel, The Federal Hotel and Holiday Inn (Johor Bahru).

Fashion and Textile Surface Designer.
Established start-up Fashion and Textile Surface Design Departments for Sarnion Garment, Inc. and Dolphin fashion, Inc.. Worked in collaboration with pattern cutting department and production team to design outfits for men and women.
